Painted by a Marine Corps veteran with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, ALS. Veterans get ALS at twice that rate then non veterans. He is a fierce believer in conquering fear through action. ALS is the epitome of fearful diseases. When he paints he forgets he has ALS. He may have ALS but it doesn't have him.
